A FEEL FOR THE PEOPLE.A new chapter.
Hi, I’m Simone.
The person behind the edit.

I’m Simone Lewis, an Atlanta-area creative building a path into sports communications and content, with a particular love for women’s basketball.
My background in patient communication and operations has taught me to listen closely, explain complicated information clearly, and keep people and details connected. I’m bringing that foundation with me as I learn the industry and develop my voice as a storyteller.
I created this portfolio to show how I approach sports writing, social content, and visual storytelling. The projects here are independent samples and mock concepts, with notes on the audience, creative decisions, and skills behind each piece.
For personal reflections and the life behind the work, read The Amoni Edit blog ↗.

A focused game coverage package built around Atlanta’s June 10, 2025 win over Indiana. The angle: two players supplied more than half of the Dream’s scoring.
Written draft, social mockups & video script.
Independent project, unaffiliated with the Dream or WNBA.
Two performances. A clear entry point for newer fans.

A foundation in communication, coordination, and working with people—applied to the content and team support I want to contribute in sports.
Communication starts with people.
In dental operations and patient coordination, I’ve learned to explain complex information, manage changing priorities, and make people feel supported. Those habits shape how I approach a story, a deadline, and a team.
Good stories start
with a conversation.
I’m interested in sports communications, content, and opportunities to learn from people doing the work. If something here connects with you, I’d love to hear from you.
